Noam Carver

Noam Carver is a sculptor, designer, and goldsmith whose jewlery unites classic and contemporary motifs from various parts of the world. From a young age, Noam Carver was always interested in art, design and how things were made. When he was 18 years old an opportunity came up for him to apprentice with a master jeweler in Montreal.  He designed the mounting for the grand prize Dubuque Diamond Dash ring for 2016.

From concept to creation, each piece is uniquely handcrafted with diamonds, gemstones, and precious metals. He is inspired by art, nature, and architecture.  Absorbing as much inspiration as possible enables him to create a large variety of ideas. Noam Carver is also inspired by different periods of design, like the Art-Deco movement, Art-Nouveau, and the Modern era. All of which are reflected in his designs.

Imagination, translation and implementation are essentially the foundation elements of his design process. First he dreams and gets inspired by new concepts. Then he translate them into concrete ideas. Finally, those ideas are implemented into drawings and cad designs, turning them into reality. Two principles guide his design process: instinct and risk. Instinct is the impetus to creation while risk cultivates new and exciting possibilities. Noam Carver uses computer design and 3D printing to expand his art, therefore creating a level of precision and excellence higher than ever thought possible. He honors the traditional legacy of fine jewelry making with impeccable attention to detail, craftsmanship, and hard work.

He has won several awards for his custom designs. He was voted Best in Bridal 2016 Rose Gold by The Knot. Other awards include: MJSA, Canadian Jeweler, National Jeweler, National Jeweler “Best Of”, and the Centurian Designer Award.
